TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. CONSIGNMENT PERIOD
- Initial consignment period: 90 days from date of acceptance
- Items not sold within 90 days become property of the boutique for donation unless picked up within 7 days of notification
- Consignor is responsible for items that are approaching expiration
-Consignor cannot pull items before 90 period. If items are required back before 90 period then a $25 processing fee is required.
2. COMMISSION SPLIT
- Consignor receives: 40% of final selling price
- Boutique receives: 60% of final selling price
- Minimum payout: $20.00 (smaller amounts will be held until minimum is reached)
3. PRICING
- Initial pricing determined jointly by consignor and boutique staff
- Boutique reserves the right to mark down items after 30 days at 25% intervals
- Final markdown price cannot go below $2.00 without consignor approval
4. ITEM ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Items must be:
- Clean and in excellent condition (no stains, tears, excessive wear, or odors)
- Current styles (generally within 2-3 years for adult clothing, 1-2 years for children's)
- Appropriate for season (seasonal items accepted 30 days before season begins)
- Complete (all buttons, zippers, and accessories attached)
We specialize in:
- Women's clothing (sizes XS-4XL)
- Children's clothing (newborn-size 16)
- Maternity wear
- Shoes and accessories
- Baby gear and toys
5. ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED
- Undergarments (except new with tags)
- Swimwear (except new with tags)
- Items with pet hair or smoke odors
- Damaged or stained items
- Outdated styles or heavily worn items
- Items from recall lists
6. PAYMENT TERMS
- Payments issued monthly for items sold in the previous month
- Payouts are limited to one month's eligible sales per monthly payout cyle. Any remaining account balance will remain in the consignor's account and will be paid during future monthly payout cycles until the balance has been paid in full.
- Payment by ACH or store credit (consignor's choice) Consignors requesting payments by ACH must submit an ACH payout request through the consignor portal by the published monthly deadline.-
-Balances remain on the consignor's account until paid or used as store credit.
- Store credit receives 10% bonus value
-White Lily Consignment reserves the right to modify it's payout procedures, policies and administrative processes at it's discretion. Any material changes will be communicated to consignors through email or the White Lily website. Continued participation in the consignment program after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7. ITEM CARE AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Boutique will exercise reasonable care in handling items
- Boutique not responsible for loss, theft, or damage due to circumstances beyond reasonable control
- Items displayed and stored at boutique's discretion
- Consignor maintains ownership until item is sold
8. ITEM REMOVAL
- 7-day grace period after contract expiration for item pickup
- Unclaimed items after grace period become property of boutique for donation
- No storage fees during contract period
9. BOUTIQUE RIGHTS
- Right to refuse any items that don't meet standards
- Right to determine display location and method
- Right to participate in boutique promotions and sales
- Right to donate unsold items after contract expiration and grace period
10. SPECIAL PROGRAMS
- New mothers and families in transition: Special consideration for emergency consignment needs
- Community support: Portion of proceeds may be donated to local women's shelters (consignor will be notified)
11. GENERAL TERMS
- Contract governed by laws of Delaware
- Consignor certifies legal ownership of all items
- Consignor agrees to boutique's social media use of item photos for marketing
- Contract modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties
- Boutique reserves right to update terms with 30-day notice
